No Santa, come on

This place is pretty quickly becoming my favorite taco spot in Austin. They specialize in Barbacoa tacos and they are phenomenal. I get the Migas Barbacoa taco about 2-3 times a week. Also the spot is pretty nice. It's right next to Fleet Coffee so it's a great place for coffee and tacos, and there is plenty of shade and misters so even at 100+ degrees it's not bad to sit here.

Just had the best breakfast taco ever at La Santa Barbacha. I’ve tried probably 30 taco trucks since moving to Austin 7 years ago and this would rank in the top 5 easily! It is dog friendly, there are nice tables to sit at, and nice turf to sit on in the shade if the tables are full. The courtyard is fenced in and right next to a cute vintage store you can pop in while you wait for your order to be ready. Excited this place is in my neighborhood and i will definitely be back often!

Truly an amazing spot to get incredible food. I say food as this isn’t just a taco spot it’s a great culinary destination. I would take what they make here over some Michelin star restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. I always feel like I’ve had a bespoke little culinary creation handed to me every time I grab my brown little to go box. I treat it like the precious cargo that it is. Upon arrival home I breathe in the delicious aroma of made to order tortillas and deliciously prepared meats. And somehow even though these tacos are in a brown to go box their presentation is on par with upscale a brick and mortar. As I bite into my meal I can taste their dedication to taco perfection and all of the attention to detail the crew of La Santa Barbacha has put into their craft. To put it plainly this is some of the best food I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. It’s rare to have a meal that makes you somehow feel a bit better about humanity and its ability to create amazing things.
